Eye care and surgery camp
Our world would be completely altered without our sight; it is a blessing and a gift. Hundreds and thousands of refugees are being deprived of medical eye care, forcing them unnecessarily to go through life blind or visually impaired. Ethar is setting up an eye camp at the heart of the most unreachable region of East Sudan: South Tokar.
A team of medical professionals, specialists and equipment is being mobilised allowing thousands to access essential eye care and bring light back into their lives. The eye camp will provide:
- Travel to and from the eye camp
- Full eye examinations
- Specialist treatments
- Minor surgeries
- Cataract removal surgeries
- Post treatment after-care
- Eye-wear including glasses
Your donation will give back people their vision, cure and prevent further illnesses enabling them and their loved ones to live a better quality of life.
Every £75 provides cataract surgery for 1 individual and full care and alternative treatments for 9 others.
